Last week was my annual holiday with my family and friends, 11 of us stayed in the luxury villa, Can-Morna, in San Carles, Ibiza and originally it was not adapted for wheelchair use although it was all on one level.

The owners however couldn’t have been more accommodating and even adapted the wet room by removing a screen, flattening the entrance and adding a grab rail. I used a portable toilet frame and portable bed rails (details here), which we transported for free on BA (click here for our details on accessible flying). So the villa was great, eventually. You can see where we went on Ibiza by reading the full review here. It is largely accessible, with wheelchair taxis for transport but disabled loos can be hard to find unless you go to a large hotel. In summary we had a great time including some ‘clubbing’.
