This review has been sent to us by James Plummer, a friend of BBS.

“The place is a private members club and part of a global chain (Soho House) with venues in the UK, Germany, the US, Canada and most recently, Turkey. Shoreditch House is one of several venues in London and is the largest.

It is on 3 floors and has 2 restaurants and several bars. Consequently it is very busy. The loos are easy to get to and most are wheelchair accessible. The only downside is that there is no local car parking, the nearest place being several hundred yards away. It is wheelchair accessible throughout and apparently now has a stated accessibility policy. This is on their website at http://www.sohohouse.com/accessibility “.

Not much detail on their link but we have produced a PAD Light (a short Pictorial Access Description) for one of their venues, High Road Brasserie, which gives the detail required, see it here.(Ed).

Shoreditch House gets 2.5 BBS Ticks.

Other venues in the group that we reviewed are: High Road Brasserie here (2.5 BBS Ticks), Electric Cinema here (2BBS Ticks) & Electric Diner here (2.5 BBS Ticks)  .  Their restaurants Cecconis (a great place with the max 3 BBS Ticks, see review here) and Cafe Boheme (2 BBS Ticks see review here), are all accessible apart from Cafe Boheme which is a little tricky with steps and no disabled toilet but it is authentically french and worth a visit.
