We love getting reader reviews, whether long or short, and we’ve been featuring a few this week. Here’s the latest about another restaurant by one of the best Chefs in Britain, Jason Atherton. I’m definitely going as the sister restaurants, Pollen Street Social (max 3 BBS Ticks) and Little Social (provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks), have great BBS reviews.

Social Eating House – “Noisy and trendy”

“The Social Eating House, (58 Poland Street, London W1) is very disabled friendly with no steps or carpet on the ground floor and a lovely disabled toilet at the back.  BUT it is very noisy and trendy and full of young Soho things.  Prepare to shout for conversation.  Not for the hard of hearing!” ( By Alex Gibbs).

Social Eating House says its ‘surroundings are as vibrant as the food’ which agrees with Alex, however it’s had mixed reviews from the Telegraph and the Observer, with Jay Rayner saying it…

“needs more than a little tuning to become the brilliant showcase it could be for a great cook’s food”.

Social Eating House – No Steps or Carpet & Disabled Loo! Good To Know.

Nevertheless based on style and disabled facilities & of course the review from Alex it gets 2.5 BBS Ticks from us.
