Little Social is a French Bistro-style restaurant in Mayfair. It’s a Jason Atherton restaurant located just across the road from his flagship place – Pollen Street Social (see previous review). Atherton has some serious credentials. He was the first British chef to do a stage at El Bulli and he also worked with Gordon Ramsay for a long time. He mixes and matches all sorts of different flavours that you wouldn’t expect to see together, but it works wonderfully.

Little Social is a pretty low-key and comfortable. The restaurant recently earned a place on Time Out’s list of the top 50 restaurants in London, as voted for by their critics. In their review they described it as “a luxe homage to Paris with a slightly Manhattan accent,” and said that, “dishes put seasonal ingredients to good use with bold flavours and impressive execution.”

The access sounds very good, although we will have to wait to audit the restaurant (which sounds like it will be a pleasure to do). There is a small ramp to get inside and they have a disabled toilet. We also double checked that there is plenty of space for wheelchairs to move around, although it does appear to be a little small. They said that, if you use a wheelchair, it’s a good idea to tell them you’re coming so they can make sure to position you sensibly.

The food at Little Social looks incredible. It gets a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks.
