Sophie Elwes sent this review about the ME Hotel that we previously reviewed here.
“After dinner near The Strand, some friends and I wanted to venture elsewhere for some drinks in a bar. As I am in a wheelchair it was a bit of a gamble as to access and disabled facilities. My friend works in PR and had heard about this hotel bar ( ME Hotel Radio Bar) so we thought we’d check it out. It was a fantastic find, step free access, with automatic doors (as far as I remember) with a lift up to the top floor where the bar is. There are several disabled bathrooms (I didn’t use them but judging by the rest of the hotel, I’m sure they’d be very nice) and some very welcoming and helpful staff. The bar itself was very swish, a great menu of cocktails and other drinks and some fantastic views across London. I look forward to returning in the summer as there are lots of sofas in the outside area, where the views can be enjoyed. The room where the bar is is big and spacious with lots of seating so this was a pleasure for me. This was such a find so I thought I’d share it – I will definitely be returning for sure!”
Re our previous review of the Radio Bar we gave them 2 BBS Ticks as the toilet was lacking enough bars, a flush & a lock! But if anyone knows if this has improved let us know here.
