Listing Description

Vodka Revs, the most over rated club in the world.

There are constantly people stood outside my university handing out flyers encouraging you to go and get ripped off in vodka revs and listen to their mainstream music – you could easily spend £80 and have a mediocre night here. I’d rather sit in my dining room with one other friend and a bottle of wine in complete silence then spend another night in this place. Having said all this I did end up waiting at the bar down stairs for a while. I was early and alone and before it all got rowdy it was actually ok, there was a nice atmosphere before the influx of students… I wouldn’t mind a drink or two there with some good company but the second floor is just a dark room with loud music and flashing lights (my definition of hell).

There’s no lift to the 2nd floor and the rooftop terrace but the stairs are pretty wide and the bouncers are nice guys, they might help? You can go outside downstairs too so it isn’t really necessary to go up to the roof. Also they do have a disabled toilet downstairs, they currently don’t have a ramp to get you down the two small steps in the middle but my pal the bouncer said they’d help you down them no problem. (Methinks Lucy has a ‘bouncing’ admirer…Ed)

I’m not sure it’s worth a visit but the downstairs area does have a nice atmosphere when the students haven’t taken over the place – the food here is also quite nice, had a slice of pizza off a friend of mine last week and it was good…

This Vodka revs can have 2 BBS Ticks
