The Ubiquitous Chip (restaurant & courtyard are accessible, brasserie upstairs isn’t and there is a disabled toilet), is highly recommended by The Good Food Guide (listed there since 1971) and Conde Nast Traveller; It’s also Lulu’s favourite place to eat!? A good find in Glasgow, as places that are totally accessible are hard to find. We’ve found a few and you can see them in a previous article.

Take note it’s situated down a cobbled lane and has a number of bars and brasserie and the best place to sit is in the magnificent courtyard. They unusually have an ‘access statement‘. Not as good as pictures and it’s not on their site but on the Visit Scotland site – we can’t have everything. It’s one of the smartest/trendy places to eat in Glasgow and they get a provisional 2.5 or even 3 BBS Ticks.
