The Restaurant Bar & Grill 2015,

is a chain of restaurants, this one is in Leeds in the Old Post Office Building on City Square! According to the website they pride themselves “on the philosophy of ingredient provenance and are dedicated to ensure that every time you visit us, you will have fantastic food and service.”

They have great access and facilities! We haven’t audited them yet but we found out that to get in you have to use the side entrance on Quebec Street. There is a lift to the fully equipped disabled toilet and no steps throughout the restaurant.

They get a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks

RBG Leeds is Accessible via lift (When Working). Bright lighting & Flat Wooden Flooring. Hard Surfaces May Make Acoustics Difficult.

We went to Bar and Grill City Square Leeds on Friday, 6 June 2024, access to outside eating area exclusively from inside the restaurant. Only access to the restaurant via a set of steps for which there was no hand rail provision. (Before the outside eating area was formalised, access to the restaurant was via steps with handrails – now not available. On gaining access we were told “there is a lift but it is broken”. We saw no signage or indication that there was any disabled access.
