Listing Description

Update 2020: The ROH is beautifully refurbished and very accessible. However, why didn’t they update the disabled toilets, in the stalls area. They were OK but not very special for such a prestigious venue……

Empty Shelves Where Sanitisers Have Been Panic Bought
Royal Opera House Disabled Toilet
Well Equipped
But Not as Smart as You’d Expect

……………………………………………………………………………………………………….

The Royal Opera House is “based in the iconic Covent Garden theatre, it is renowned for its outstanding performances of both traditional opera as well as commissioning new works by today’s leading opera composers.”

The Royal Opera House is a real treat to go and visit, they also have great concessions if you’re disabled.

There are 19 spaces for wheelchair users and at least one wheelchair space and companion seat is made available on the day of a performance. There are disabled toilets throughout the building and lifts to all levels, they also have an assisted hearing facility and sign language interpreted performances and large print programs.

The Royal Opera House gets 3 BBS Ticks!!
