Il Piccolo Mondo is located in an old church hall just outside of Cambridge. Nominated for a BBS Award, 2017 by The Relative Lieutenant who raves about the authentic Italian cuisine. You have to book well in advance and it’s a “one-sitting restaurant because we feel our guests join us to enjoy the whole event—food, service, ambiance and the people they are dining with—leisurely, as the Italians do”. It’s not large but a wheelchair can and has been accommodated. It’s simple style and food recreates the ambiance of an Italian village restaurant.

Access is good and flat with ample parking outside. They have an accessible toilet but we haven’t verified this as yet. They get 2.5 BBS Ticks and a nomination for Best Budget BBS Award.
