Piccolino is a chain of Italian restaurants across England they say: “We incorporate the best and freshest seasonal produce, Italian cheeses, meat and seafood, all delivering pure classic Italian flavours.” We haven’t visited any of these restaurants yet but by the sounds of it they have all got fabulous disabled access and facilities.

Birmingham gets a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks

There’s no steps at the entrance or throughout the restaurant, everything is on the ground floor including the disabled toilet.

Bramhall gets a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks

There is a ramp at the entrance of the restaurant, no steps within the restaurant and they have a fully equipped disabled toilet!

Bristol gets a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks

No steps at the entrance, there are steps to go up to the toilets but for those who are less able the disabled toilet that is located on the ground floor.

Chester gets a provisional 2 BBS Ticks

No steps at the entrance of the restaurant and they have a disabled toilet on the ground floor.

Clitheroe gets a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks

This is a big restaurant so there is plenty of space inside and no steps around to cause any problems, the entrance is flat and they have a disabled toilet.

Collingham gets a provisional 2 BBS Ticks

There are a few steps at the front entrance but they have a flat entrance to the side. There are a few steps to the toilets but none to the disabled toilet.

Didsbury gets a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks

This restaurant has a flat entrance and inside there are no steps unless you are going to the toilets for the able bodied. That shouldn’t be necessary because there is a disabled toilet with no stairs to get to it.

Exchange Square gets a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks

There are steps into the restaurant but they have a disabled lift to get around that issue. Once inside it is completely flat and they have a disabled toilet!

Ilkey gets a provisional 2 BBS Ticks

No steps into the restaurant or throughout and they have a fully equipped disabled toilet!

Leeds gets a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks

There are steps into the restaurant and like the Exchange Square branch they have a disabled lift to get you in the entrance!! Once inside there are no more steps and they have a disabled toilet.

Liverpool gets a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks

The ground floor of the restaurant is fully accessible but there is no lift upstairs. They do have a disabled toilet on the ground floor. They suggest that when booking a table to ask to be seated downstairs to avoid complications on arrival if they reserve a table upstairs.

Mayfair gets a provisional 2 BBS Ticks

There are steps at the entrance but they have another way of getting in that is flat. Once inside there are no other steps and they have a disabled toilet.

Newcastle gets a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks

Two big doors at the entrance to the restaurant but no steps there or throughout. Everything is on one floor including the disabled toilet!

Nottingham gets a provisional 2 BBS Ticks

There are no steps into or around the restaurant and they have a disabled toilet!

Sheffield gets a provisional 2 BBS Ticks

They have a disabled toilet and the only steps in the restaurant are those going to the toilets for the able bodied.

Virginia Water gets a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks

This restaurant is completely flat inside, no steps to get in and they have a disabled toilet!

York gets a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks

The disabled toilet is on the ground floor, no steps into or around the restaurant!
