Listing Description

There are two Nobu restaurants in London – one in the heart of Mayfair, on Berkeley Street and the other is on Old Park Lane. These Japanese restaurants are critically acclaimed and the Mayfair restaurant is one of “London’s most fashionable restaurants and has also been the venue for some of the capitals most high profile parties.”

At Nobu, Berkeley Street they do have a disabled toilet downstairs. Unfortunately they don’t have a lift to get you up to the second floor of the restaurant but the first floor is accessible and has no steps throughout or at the entrance to the building. (N.B. when I went they let me eat downstairs in the bar which was great as it’s where everyone ends up listening to some great ‘Chunes’, Fiona). They definitely get 2.5 BBS Ticks.

Similarly, Nobu on Old Park Lane also has a brilliant disabled access and facilities. This restaurant is on the first floor of the Metropolitan Hotel in London and there is a disabled toilet and the restaurant is flat throughout. (I also visited here and food is amazing and you always see ‘faces’  such as Simply Red & Boris Becker – that’s where he misbehaved in the stair-well, read about it here?!)

Both Nobu get 2.5 and 3 BBS Ticks respectively.
