We have recently set up a partnership with Access Advisr – a Tripadvisor look a like for people with disabilities. They recommended we take a look at Indian Summer in Brighton. We previously went on a trip to Brighton which is plagued with narrow streets and a pebbled beach, none of which makes access easy. It should also be noted that a lot of the kerbs in the older part of Brighton can be quite high.

However it’s the seaside season so you should persevere and make the trip, especially as Indian Summer gets consistently good reviews and are part of the

Indian Summer – Not Your Typical Indian. Has More Style!

Access Advsr agree with this and say they have ‘fabulous food’ although there’s a disparaging comment on Tripadvisor about it not being your typical Indian – a positive in our book!!

As far as access is concerned there are two steps into the restaurant negotiated via a portable ramp. Having moved to a new location the restaurant is bigger ‘but sadly there is still no accessible toilet’. We investigated further and the next door restaurant Terre à Terre does have an accessible toilet with grab rails and ramped access throughout. It turns out that this is an award winning vegetarian restaurant and has the following accolades
