The Curzon Richmond has become home for the BBS Film Club. The last Thursday of every month we meet and see a film chosen by a member in rotation. So far we’ve been to three films at this cinema and each time we’ve been welcomed by very helpful staff. Parking in Water Lane, for drop off only, is difficult and the pavements are so narrow that eventually you have to use the road, covered with cobbles – not very good. There’s flat access to the cinema at the back entrance and a small step (4cm approx) at the front.

Seating For Wheelchair on Back Row. Near Exit & Disabled Toilet

The flooring is smooth throughout and the wheelchair/accessible seating is at the back, nice and close to the fully equipped disabled toilet. Only issue is the carpet in the auditorium which is tricky to wheel over and the doors, by necessity, are heavy to hold/push. This is a small but perfectly accessible cinema and they serve some decent wine……what more do you want. Another bonus is you can book online for the wheelchair seat but unfortunately you can’t add a carer seat, even though they don’t charge for carers (you need to phone to secure this).

  There is no phone number you have to contact by email or use the Curzon central number. You will need a CEA card to get the free carer seat.
