Listing Description

Camino’s has been recommended by an electric wheelchair user. Based in the newly regenerated King’s Cross area of London it serves tapas all day. Part of a small chain but don’t let that put you off especially as the prices are very reasonable. They describe it as sprawling around

‘a hidden courtyard, coming alive in the Summer, full of people enjoying one of our Spanish serve G&T goblets or a frosted mug of sangria. With outdoor heaters and plenty of seating, it’s often busy on even the coldest of evenings.’

The bar area and restaurant that are both accessible and flat throughout. The bar area has high tables so as long as you don’t mind being lower there’s no issue. The disabled toilet is in the restaurant area. It’s trendy, stylish and affordable so they get 2.5 BBS Ticks.

Wheelchair accessible though a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes. They were happy to move a chair for me to sit in my wheelchair at the table. Only downside to the disabled toilet is it has a foot pedal bin, which is useless to a lot of wheelchair users, but it was clean.
