UPDATE 2023: St David’s Hotel, Cardiff looks really stylish and they have great disabled access! It’s on the waterfront on Cardiff Bay and is a ‘peaceful haven’ but close to the trendier, ‘vibrant’ parts of the City.
They have rooms with walk in showers with grab rails and emergency cords! Getting into the building is easy, there are no steps to compete with! Once in the building there are lifts to all the floors, although there is no disabled toilet in the restaurant there is one in the lobby next to the other toilets! There are also disabled toilets in the Spa.
The accessible rooms have a walk in shower that they show but there’s no idea if the accompanying toilet has grab rails. We’re awaiting their confirmation regarding this.
They did send this however but still no idea about the toilets – a crucial piece of information!!
