Update 2019: Went recently and the on-line booking system mistakenly identified me as not needing a wheelchair bay. Will always double check by phone!! Anyone have same problem?? Contact us.
On the plus side Phoebe Waller-Bridge was there and said hello! Everywhere at The Royal Court is accessible but lift to basement restaurant & bar is slow and needs assistance to use – worth the wait though as bar is always buzzing. And to confirm the lift to all areas and disabled toilet is to left of main entrance (a few cobbles later) so they get an audited 2.5 BBS Ticks. Maybe a contender for a Blue Badge Access Award 2020??

Royal Court Theatre is in Sloane Square and gets rave reviews from all around the world.
The New York Times called it “the most important theatre in Europe’. But it doesn’t stop there Harpers and Queen said it was “London’s coolest theatre’.
They told us that the theatre was totally accessible! There is a flat entrance and no issues getting to the seats but there are lifts if you need them. The seats are specific for wheelchairs like most other theaters and you should let them know when booking and they also have a disabled toilet!
The website says that it’s a ‘leading national company dedicated to new work by innovative writers from the UK and around the world.’ I get the impression it’s probably worth a visit and since it’s fully accessible why not!?
2.5 BBS Ticks for Royal Court.
