We recently met Justin Tomlinson, Minister for Disabled people. We asked if he was a disabled person would he vote or ‘in’ or ‘out’ of Europe? His answer was in his words ‘Swiss’ in that he didn’t think it would make a significant difference either way………..We’d love to hear what you think; will the fact we’re leaving Europe make a difference to people with disabilities??? We’ll let you know our opinions in another post as we believe there are global/international issues i.e. Uk is 2nd only to the USA in promoting the rights of disabled people and Europe were following our lead – maybe not now & perhaps this will put us to the back of the queue à la Obama???!!
