Lieutenant No2 sent a review of Bottega Wapping, a restaurant/wine bar/farmers market in the East End of London at Wapping Wall. He reported that the food was
“delicious as is some of the in-house cooked bread, charcuterie and pasta. The menu includes ‘Pan-fried scallops, Venere rice salad, mango, chilli and coriander chutney ‘ and ‘Crispy pork belly, sautéed new potatoes, baby carrots, radish, pea shoots, blueberry, lavender sauce’ . All at reasonable price of around £8 for a starter and £17 for a main course. The wines are equally reasonable and very familiar if not a little unadventurous. All the usual favourites are on the list from Pinot Grigio to Valpolicella.”
Bottega Has Plenty of Room and Flat surfaces – Only the Post in the Middle is an Obstacle….
The Lieutenant checked the disabled toilet and “they were up to scratch but the front door has a few steps – might be an issue??”
Front Step & Produce Basket may be an Obstacle but Staff are Very Willing to Help
This picture shows the steps and the staff will help you up them so not too much of an issue as there’s plenty of room once you’re inside.
