We mentioned SoftWheels in a previous post and they are now on sale made in Israel they appear to have a Czech distributor. They allow you to manoeuvre over steps, rough terrain, kerbs etc. using hydraulic spokes.
Not cheap they are:

Something else we liked is the Rayn Jacket , designed by Open Style Lab at MIT university, it looks good and has an ingenious solution for sitting in the rain. It’s also now available to buy on a crowdfunding platform called Betabrand. It’s $210.80, a bit steep for a rain jacket but looks like it does a good job.
