The Greenhouse is a two Michelin starred and four AA Rossetted restaurant renowned for its relaxed but classy feel. It’s known as a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Mayfair.

Chef Arnaud Bignon blends classical French techniques with contemporary ideas in a fresh and beautiful menu. Unsurprisingly, given its many accolades, The Greenhouse has been lauded by all, with The Telegraph describing it as “a discreet sleek and contemporary restaurant with well-judged service.” All critics seem to be agreed that along with the brilliant food, the relaxed environment and attention to quality make The Greenhouse worth the effort and cost of visiting. It’s is also one of only four restaurants in the world to win the Wine Spectator Grand Award, the highest award given for exceptional quality in a wine list, so the plonk’s not too bad either.

The entrance to The Greenhouse is down a secluded pathway which sees you go from the centre of Mayfair to the complete calmness in a short space of time. Although the entrance is not completely step free they have a portable ramp which can be put in place for anyone who needs it – they ask that visitors notify them in advance to make this process smoother. Inside, there is a disabled toilet and the staff are extremely helpful.

The Greenhouse is an outstanding restaurant and they have done the right thing by getting themselves a portable ramp. We give them a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks.
