If you’re like me I often find myself looking for somewhere to eat good food at irregular times, particularly whist shopping. However, if it’s mid afternoon or early morning you only have chain restaurants/burger bars or in store eating available and it’s really annoying to know at 15.01 hours the kitchen has just closed. So it’s good to hear of a new breed of ‘good food’ all day dining (well from 6.30 a.m. – 11 p.m.), such as Urban meadow, in London at least.
Urban Meadow, Westbourne Grove, near Hyde Park, opened in September 2013 so there aren’t many reviews but the menu looks good with delicacies such as a ‘pulled pork burger’ and ‘potted rabbit with celeriac coleslaw & pickles’. There appears to be plenty of room to get around and there’s also an outdoor dining area. You can have breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and ‘graze’ at any time. An added bonus is they reassure us that it’s completely accessible and has ‘fully equipped’ disabled facilities.
We give Urban Meadow a provisional 2 BBS Ticks.
Previous reviews of the Duck & Waffle and Smiths also provide all day, good food in London but if anyone knows of other all day fine dining experiences send a review here, particularly if outside London.
