Available to buy in the US in early 2014, no prices yet. It operates using a tilt mechanism on the front bar and transfers are enabled by removing the bar and sliding the seat forward – a genius idea that would be good on any wheelchair. Termed “the iPhone of mobility devices” it is being demonstrated at Abilities Expo in San Jose this week. We don’t know when it will be in the UK but mass manufacture of the parts seems to be Jun 2014 so with luck they may be able to export by 2015 – Let’s hope and we’ll keep you informed! In other news Carbon Black is now available for demonstration and they keep calling but no date for a demo yet. Has anyone tried the new version??
