Further Update Nov 2013: The Hinds Head doesn’t have a disabled toilet it’s just a large gents on the ground floor accessed via one step. So as you were, see Hinds Head review here & Fat Duck still gets 3 BBS Ticks (on the proviso that the disabled/staff toilet is accessible, we’ll investigate soon).

Update Oct 2013: The Staff Toilet at the Fat Duck now has grab rails and is a ground floor Disabled Toilet. For a larger/better one the Hinds Head now have one as well. Hurrah the Blue Pound wins!! They both now get 3 BBS Ticks to go with their Michelin Stars.

I went to The Fat Duck when it first opened and did indeed try the snail porridge! The food is absolutely excellent however it’s very small and I wouldn’t be too sure about getting in there in a wheelchair…

There’s also no disabled toilet as they say the building is listed – you know my views on that!! Not a ‘reasonable’ excuse under the Equality Act 2010.

Since they have a staff toilet on the ground floor, why can’t they convert that into a disabled toilet as well, I don’t mind sharing!

However the food is exceptional and the Fat Duck get 2 BBS Ticks
