We found this on the www.seriouslynot.com website It’s a special ‘shoehorn’ for getting your wheelchair into those doorways that are just too narrow. This Wheelie Squeezie sounds like a brilliant problem solver! Never again will you be defeated by those narrow toilet doorways. It’s based on the Smart Car design.
It’s also supplied with a special grease that you can apply to the wheel rims for extra leverage. Apparently it’s based on the same ‘buttery’ substance that Paddington Bear used when he famously got his head stuck in his camera. If that was good enough for him then this new and improved version should be really helpful.
There’s also another wheelchair under development with a hydraulic spring that will lift you up and over those unexpected stairs. They had some unexpected teething problems during testing (see below) but they’re up and going now. Can’t wait to get one although they aren’t cheap at £10,000.

These products are going to be such a bonus for everyone and particularly for all those venues which never bothered with things like ramps, lifts or full width doors. We now wonder if they were right all along?

Waw That’s Very Noce What Is The Cost Of One Of These Please ?
It’s called a Catapult wheelchair and it’s still just a prototype. You can see it here – http://www.designboom.com/design/catapult-wheelchair-by-tom-robbins/ It might not be made anytime soon but the technology does at least exist – the first two gadgets were jokes.
