Jewel cocktail bar is right next to the bright lights of Piccadilly Circus and puts on something of a similarly glitzy display itself. The decor is decadent and glamorous with elegant furnishings and delicious cocktails. It’s somewhere to go for a night of opulence in the heart of London; not somewhere for an discrete, quiet drink.

Access into the building is very, very close to being step free – there’s just the tiniest bit of elevation to deal with, which is almost not even worth mentioning. They do have a disabled toilet as well.

The problem is, that although the main bar is accessible, there is an extra bar which is up a small flight of steps. There are about three steps there but you don’t need to go up them really. Still, they lose points on accessibility because of this.

We give Jewel 2 provisional BBS Ticks.
