South Place Hotel is in the City of London, it is the first hotel from the D&D restaurant group. The rooms are “comfortable, modern and intelligently designed without being gimmicky: materials, colours and textures provide a sense of contemporary luxury”.

They have 4 rooms that are designed for disabled access, they advise booking in advance. The accessible rooms have wider doors, walk in showers, lower light switches.

We haven’t audited the hotel yet but the access sounds good! There are no steps into the building and there is a lift to every floor. The Angler fine dining restaurant has a rooftop terrace, it’s accessible and has a disabled toilet within it! The ground floor restaurant, 3 South Place Bar & Grill is more casual and has a ‘DJ playing in the bar most nights’. Sounds like they cater for everyone!

South Place Hotel & restaurants get a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks
