Hedone a restaurant in Chiswick opened in 2011 and has already been awarded a Michelin Star and voted the 70th Best Restaurant in the World by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Jury. All the more surprising as the Swedish Chef, Mikael Jonsson, is self taught (not to be confused with the one in The Muppets?!).
He spent 20 years dining in Michelin-Starred restaurants around the world and blogging about food. He’s quoted as saying
“Anyone can do anything they want, and that’s what I proved. You just need a lot of passion.”
Something we at BBS agree with!
His personally vetted ingredients mean that he produces high quality food ’emphasising rather than denaturing their flavours’. He is renowned for his dish of onion and pear shavings, described by AA Gill as “extraordinary”.

We’ve not been but we’re assured that access is on one level and there’s a fully equipped disabled toilet. Let them know you’re coming and they’ll get you a good table. Well we just have to go or someone has to ‘submit a review’ – here!?? In the meantime sounds like  provisional 3 BBS Ticks.
