Sorry folks the Weds Wrap is a bit late this week due to a visit to the dentist and a charge of £300.

Last week I had an appointment at the National Neurological Hospital in Queen Sq. London, and as a treat the Relative Lieutenant took me for lunch with his work colleagues to Ciao Bella in Lambs Conduit St. Great food and service as you would expect from a traditional Italian restaurant and it was warm enough to sit outside. Whilst we were there the Lieutenant went on the hunt for a disabled toilet in Lambs Conduit St. only to find that not one restaurant had one and at one establishment he was told that their customers used the nearest hospital toilet i.e. at Gt. Ormond Street. I was shocked as there is usually a pub with a DT. So I’m Tweeting Camden Council to find out why and will report back.

Great Italian Food & Al Fresco Dining But no Dis. Toilet!

On a similar note I received notification that Heston Blumenthal would soon be putting a DT into one of his three pubs in Bray. Something I’ve previously written about as I don’t think it’s reasonable to not have a single DT there. He can afford to put one in!!!! I will be reporting back on this as well.

Pub No.2 and still no Disabled Toilet, but there’s room for a smoking area!!

On a less annoying note I was invited by our friends at Sesame Access to go and see Harlequins rugby team play at the Stoop in Twickenham (good accessibility at this ground). There was great weather, a win for the ‘Quins’ plus a lot of alcohol. What more do you need except dancing bears – they were provided courtesy of the men dressed as the club mascots. They were almost as entertaining as the game.

Got to go now as teeth are hurting but I promise to write more next week as I’ve a few evenings out planned!!
