Walnut Tree restaurant in Wales is a “famous inn and restaurant since the early 60’s”. It’s had many ups and downs but is now “back to it’s best” since Shaun Hill took over and was awarded a Michelin Star.

The dishes change daily as they “are subject to availability of ingredients” so if you have your heart set on something on the menu they suggest calling to find out if they’ll be serving it on the day you’re planning to go.

We haven’t been to Walnut Tree yet but we’ve found out about their disabled access. They said there is one small step into the restaurant for which they have a ramp, so give them notice when you’re planning to go. Once inside it’s flat throughout and they have a disabled toilet! However, some reviews say it’s a little cramped but I’m sure they’ll make room for anyone in a wheelchair.
