The Montagu Arms Hotel is a 17th century country house in Beaulieu, Hampshire, “nestled deep in the heart of the beautiful New Forest”.

Unfortunately, there are no lifts in this building to get up to the rooms. However, the Michelin Starred Terrace Restaurant is accessible, it’s downstairs and has flat access; there’s a disabled toilet down there too.

Getting into the hotel isn’t a problem – they have a ramp into the building! There’s also a more casual Monty’s Inn which has the same chef but the food is more ‘gastro pub’ and less expensive. Worth a visit if you’re looking for somewhere in the New Forest.

Montagu Arms Terrace restaurant gets a provisional 2 BBS Ticks and the hotel gets ‘nil points’.
