I know it’s been cold but I thought my friend was crazy when he mentioned Bodo’s Schloss, an Alpine restaurant and bar, as a good place to go for an evening out. It’s next to The Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London and has been frequented by Prince Harry (apparently). It does look like fun as it resembles an Alpine ski lodge and has an ‘open door’ policy so you don’t have to be on the annoyance of a ‘Guest List’. It’s open from 5pm and is a restaurant and late bar, as well as an ‘old fashioned discotheque’ (open from 10pm and entry is at their discretion).

There are 2 steps into the restaurant which ‘disappear’ (I assume it’s retractable) and there is a disabled toilet. Entrance is via reception at the Royal Garden. Can’t wait to visit but in the meantime they get full marks for style and inventiveness and a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks.

Let us know if you’ve been there??
