Texture is just off Oxford Street, on the way to Portman Square. It’s a Michelin Star restaurant with a champagne bar.

The food is excellent and it “combines British produce with ingredients from… Iceland” (not the supermarket chain!)

The entrance is quite tricky and their disabled toilet is quite a way from the restaurant – as its in the connecting hotel. Access is via Doubletree by Hilton Hotel next door but is quite long winded so I took the stairs!

Timeout said its,

“one of londons most interesting culinary ventures”

Texture gets 2.5 BBS Ticks
