I was recommended The Wapping Project in London, by my uber trendy Lieutenant No.2 and friends at the equally trendy menswear shop Present. Housed in an old Power Station it’s obviously industrial in ambiance and there’s plenty of room to get round with level access and a disabled toilet with grab rails  etc. (according to them as I haven’t managed to get there yet)

Toptable says it’s “cheerfully informal by day, atmospheric by night”. European style food, cocktails and you have to like Australian wines as that’s all there is. However, the art is the attraction as there are ” performance and art spaces” all modern of course. Will update when I go but sounds right up my street with regard to style and a place to be seen, in both senses of the word!

The Wapping Project gets a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks
