Update Jan2013 The Hempel is closed due to the sale of the building

The Hempel is a small hotel tucked away in West london. Designed by Anouska Hempel it is an ‘intimate and elegant hideaway’. For a small hotel they at least have one disabled room with a walk-in shower. There is a restaurant which is not very big so access may be slightly restricted and the disabled toilet is on the first floor accessed via a lift. Access is at street level and the floors are flat with no apparent obstacles.
The restaurant is No. 35 and the Lounge Bar is No. 31The Hempel is a small hotel tucked away in West london. Designed by Anouska Hempel it is an ‘intimate and elegant hideaway’.. It has a creative list of cocktails and bar snacks, whilst the restaurant serves British and European cuisine. Both look chic and minimalist and the Zen Garden is beautiful.
It looks extremely stylish and in writing this review the staff could not have been more helpful, which bodes well for any prospective guest. Another priority visit methinks!!
A provisional 3BBS Ticks for The Hempel.
