Le Pont de la Tour is a D&D London restaurant which was flagship restaurant for Conran. The cooking has always been good with Tom Cook. It’s memorable for me because I was due to go there for a business meeting once and cancelled at the last minute only to find out that Tony Blair and Bill Clinton were meeting there too. So I missed them both.

There is a disabled toilet and flat access, but quite thick carpet in the restaurant and in the bar/brassier. Access to Pont de la Tour at Butlers Wharf, adjacent to Tower Bridge, is quite difficult by car, as you have to get over a cobbled street to get into the restaurant unless you walk along the embankment which is all flat.

In the summer there is seating outside which is wonderful as you can see Tower Bridge from their “famous riverside terraces”.
