A couple of months a we reviewed the flamboyant and stylish G Hotel in Galway. We really liked that the hotel’s designer – the famous Milliner Phillip Treacy – had gone all out with the design, making it as bright and bold as possible.
However, at the time, we had no idea where exactly the hotel was beyond the fact that it was in Galway. When we asked the staff there for a postcode or GPS coordinates they accidentally directed us to a shopping outlet centre.
But we have now seen that they have updated their website to give clearer information on how to get there by car. Which still isn’t perfect, but it’s progress.
It’s great to see they’ve done this because we really liked the hotel at time and gave it 2.5 BBS Ticks. Now that this has been sorted out it should be easier for people to pay a visit to the hotel that Travel and Leisure names as one of Ireland’s very best.
