Cloud 23 is ” a unique and memorable venue located at the highest point in Manchester.” It’s at the top of the Hilton in Deansgate with a lift up to the bar from the lobby. It’s newly refurbished and we’re not sure if it’s good styling or maybe a bit too ‘Footballer’s Wives’, as we haven’t been there yet. They have a disabled toilet on the same floor which is accessible (apparently) and fully equipped. In the bar there’s table service and it’s flat and spacious throughout, so no problems we hope!! The cocktail list is inventive and includes an ‘Ena Sparkles’ named after the famous Corrie character & includes lemons, oranges, pineapple and cherry liqueur with Champagne. You do have to get on the ‘guest list’ for an evening visit from 6pm to 12am and on Friday & Saturday this is fully booked approximately 2-3 months in advance. Outside of these times, a queuing system operates so afternoon tea should be ok!
BTW if you want to stay at the Hilton they have disabled rooms with wet room showers and all the rails you would need.
Cloud 23 gets a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks as does the Hilton hotel.
