Nimb is a hotel, restaurant and bar in the Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen. Despite it’s slightly strange, Moorish inspired, outside appearance, it is more understated and very trendy inside.
Dylan Jones, editor of UK GQ magazine has described Nimb as ‘super-cool’ and ‘quite simply the best hotel in the city’.
Unfortunately the hotel has no disabled rooms for less able guests but the bar and restaurant are more accessible. They have recently installed a new ramp in the entrance to make the bar area ‘100% accessible’.
The restaurant had, under head chef Thomas Herman, gained a Michelin star and even comparisons to Noma. He has however recently left. Since then the restaurant has changed its name to Louise and continues to be experimental and interesting. This all seems a little turbulent but the current chefs are a safe pair of hands and the food looks great.
The hotel’s bar is definitely one of the places to go in Copenhagen. It is known for innovative cocktails and currently sits fourth in the readers top 100 on the Worlds Best Bars.
The hotel itself is not accessible but the restaurant and bar are much more suitable and they receive a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks.
