The Dry Martini Bar in Barcelona is part of a chain of bars owned by Javier de las Muelas which in 2010 sold their one millionth Martini.
Needless to say the bar focuses on making classic Martinis and pictures of the drinks adorn the walls. Cocktail masterclasses and training courses take place next door at ‘The Academy’ to teach more people to make the perfect Martini. With the new James Bond film coming out soon this seems like a very trendy place to go at the moment.
The Barcelona Bar is very popular and highly rated. Time Out recommends it’s traditional approach and lack of stuffiness, making it one of their critics choices. The World’s Best Bars also rates it very highly putting it on their list of experts picks.
The bar has a disabled toilet in the restaurant area. Other than a step on the way in it is generally pretty accessible.
