The Miro Hotel is located between Bilbao’s Museum of Fine Arts and Frank Gehry’s legendary Guggenheim Bilbao.

The hotel is a member of Design Hotels which credits the building for managing to carve it’s own identity, architecturally, whilst surrounded by such ‘prestigious neighbours’. The hotel is named after Catalan fashion designer Antonio Miró rather than Joan Miró the famous painter and sculptor. The boutique style of the hotel reflects this, with the decoration being mostly simplistic and minimalist, with soothing colours rather than the surreal splashes of bright colours associated with the artist.  It is very contemporary, sleek and stylish.

The hotel has at least one fully equipped disabled room with a walk in shower. The building is of a modern design so it is easy to access for the less able with flat floors and lifts between floors.

The Miro Hotel has great access and brilliant modern design and receives a provisional 3 BBS Ticks.
