Hotel Okura houses the 2 Michelin Star Ciel Bleu restaurant, previously reviewed by the Musical Lieutenant on her vsit to Amsterdam. They have since informed us that they have a fully accessible bedroom with all the facilities you need being disabled.
It has a bigger door, walk-in shower with grab rails and everything including wardrobe rails are at wheelchair height. The hotel’s public disabled toilet however, is in the basement so as we mentioned in the previous review you may have a bit of a lift ride to get there.
The hotel Okura is fully accessible and gets a provisional 2.5 BBS Ticks until the rooms are audited. Nice to hear that at least one hotel in Amsterdam is accessible.
