Anchor and Hope has been a great Gastro Pub in the Cut at Waterloo for many years. I’ve been there when walking with sticks and it was OK as the floors are wooden and it’s on one level. There is also parking nearby.

The food is ‘Modern European’, there are no reservations and you share tables but you can wait at the bar. The food is worth it and the atmosphere is very sociable and chatty! The founders also own The Eagle in Farringdon known as one of the original Gastro pubs.

No disabled toilet so only 1.5 BBS Ticks.
