Located 30 miles to the South East of London we heard about The West House restaurant via various good reviews and chef Graham Garrett’s performance on The Great British Menu. It’s a small family-run restaurant in a 15th Century weaver’s cottage. They have 1 Michelin Star and but unfortunately they have no disabled toilet except for one at the other end of the village.

The food is simple but has ‘intense flavours’ according to one reviewer. Would love to go but the toilet arrangements are not welcoming! I asked by email if they thought of installing a disabled toilet but no response as yet.

Yet another Michelin Star restaurant without equality of services. As such they get a provisional 1.5BBS Ticks
