Update Feb 2013:

Bank in Birmingham is fully accessible and has a disabled toilet. Looks good but haven’t been yet. They get 2.5 Provisional BBS Ticks.

Zinc in Manchester has access via a back entrance, a disabled toilet and bar are on the ground floor. There are 7 steps between the restaurant and bar/toilet so you either go out and round or get carried down the steps. They do seem very helpful and full marks for trying. They get 2 Provisional BBS Ticks.

I go to Bank Restaurant & Zander Bar with my old chums from Westminster Council. Great cocktails lovely courtyard and/or conservatory dining. It’s part of the Crown Plaza Hotel in St. James’s. Disabled toilet is a bit of a journey through the hotel and there are portable ramps to help with access.

They also have sister venues Bank Restaurant in Birmingham and Zinc in Manchester, which is useful to know.
