I am pleased to report that after seeing one of the ten disabled rooms in the St. Martins Lane hotel, that we can now give them 3 BBS Ticks. The rooms are minimalist and need extra grab rails in the shower but the fact they have 10 such rooms is unusual to say the Least. Some are near the lifts and others are quite a walk/wheel away down the corridors, so be sure to tell them what your needs are! They are very accommodating.

I can also confirm that their restaurant Asia De Cuba has a disabled toilet that is fine, except it may be a little low on the ground, but at least it is clean and modern – not a white plastic grab rail to be seen. The same goes for the bathrooms in the hotel.

The Morgans Hotel Group will be opening The Mondrian London in 2014 which is located on the river in the old Sea Containers House on the South Bank. Can’t wait to see what they have done as there will also be a number of disabled rooms, hopefully with all the modern facilities now available e.g. adjustable height sinks etc.
