Being a Man United fan may not be stylish but it’s in my blood. So when I was offered a wheelchair + carer ticket, I ‘jumped’ at the chance. A three hour  drive later we (Me & Lieutenant No1) arrived in Manchester and promptly got lost. We were in a Black Chrysler Voyager adapted car with wheelchair access – known as the Bat Mobile!

The stadium disabled seats were in the very upper tier, which at least gave us an aerial view of the pitch! We could just about recognise our heroes.

Access was good and the toilets clean and just behind us. Man U staff extremely helpful and friendly.  A great day as no real problems – it was sunny and we won! Definitely go again but probably by train, 1st class as you get a 30% off concession. Lieutenant No1 insists on this as he was very tired after 8 hours driving – even though I kept him company!??
