Listing Description

Update 2017: Zetter Marylebone won Best Boutique Hotel at the 2017 BBS Awards – a quirky and accessible place to drink, eat or stay, read on to see why……………..

Zetter Townhouse, Marylebone is a hotel in a Georgian block in Marylebone. We first came upon it when visiting their quirky bar, Seymour’s Parlour. More recently they’ve been nominated for a BBS Award for Best (Accessible) Boutique Hotel 2017. Here’s the reason why!

After finding Seymour’s Parlour to be an accessible and stylish bar – good disabled loo and portable ramp at entrance – we had a further look at the hotel’s accessible room.

It was really well done as it kept the Georgian style of the rest of the building but with the added modern accessibility features. The access is via a lift and the room is close by. The floor is carpeted but not too plush and there’s room for a wheelchair. The wardrobe has high rails but room service is there to help with your long ball gowns. The bathroom is lovely and has all the right bars and is a wet room even though it’s a small space. Shows what you can do when you try, they get an audited 2.5 BBS ticks.
