We reviewed the Zetter Hotel and Townhouse in Clerkenwell and gave them both 3 BBS Ticks for style, access and facilities, so we were eager to visit their latest venture in Marylebone. We weren’t disappointed as it has the same quirky ambience and bar staff that could easily be mistaken for members of Mumford & Son’s. We went for a birthday celebration with ten others and although the bar, Seymour’s Parlour, is small, full of rugs, antique chairs and tables, they managed to accommodate us wheelchair and all.

You need to book but it’s worth it for the cocktails as they’re original such as the Cedar kir (Cedar Wood Liqueur, Champagne) and their nibbles such as the homemade scotch egg or sausage roll.

A Small Gin Cocktail For a Big Man!!

The rugs can be a bit of issue for the wheelchair and some of the tables have legs in the wrong place but the staff were helpful and try their utmost to accommodate. It’s dimly lit but the ambience means you can still hear even when it’s crowded. There is a steep step into the Townhouse and there is a portable ramp (don’t let the staff tell you otherwise).

The accessible toilet is downstairs via a lift and is clean and well equipped…

It’s Tight But Wheelchair Does Fit.

A good place for trendy cocktails and the Townhouse also has accessible bedrooms but that’s another review………They get 2 BBS Ticks as accessibility is a challenge but there’s style in abundance!!!!!
