Listing Description

Lutyens is a restaurant on Fleet Street, named after the British architect  Edwin Lutyens and designer of the building.

Their “extensive à la carte menu focuses on modern European, highly-seasonal food, with a subtle Nordic influence.” This Nordic influence comes from their Swedish chef Henrik Ritzen who uses lighter ingredients in his food, having a greater emphasis on the “day-boat fish, garden-fresh vegetables, rare herbs and salads”. The food is good and the restaurant is stylish as you would expect from a venue whose interior is designed by Terence Conran.

Now for their accessibility…Getting into the building, there are steps at the front but they have a side entrance which is flat. Once inside there are no other steps and there is a lift that takes you between the two floors of the restaurant and club. They have a disabled toilet in the club but it’s underneath and a bit of a trek if you less ambulant.

Lutyens gets 2.5 BBS Ticks for adapting the restaurant so that access is good and for great style!!
